Mikhail Grigoryevich Lyakhov. 1926 – 1978 He was born on September 4, 1926 in the village of Zhabki, Ivanovo region. In 1961 he graduated from the Moscow Higher School of Art and Industry (e. Stroganovskoe). Thesis "Motherhood". Member of the Union of Artists of the USSR. He worked in the field of monumental sculpture, successfully used materials: forged copper, cast iron, metal, stone. After graduation, he worked as an architect of the Moscow Project on the decoration of the World Exhibition in Brussels, physical education in Izmailovo and the design of the Krasnopresnensky district of Moscow. Participant of exhibitions: exhibition of young Moscow artists (1958), All-Union exhibition of diploma works (1962), All-Union exhibition of painting, sculpture (1962), zonal exhibition "In a single formation" (1964), exhibition of projects of the monument "Cosmos" (1962), republican exhibition "50 years of Soviet power" (1966), || zonal exhibition "In a single formation" (1967), exhibition of small forms (1967), ||| zonal exhibition "In a single formation" (1969), exhibition of painting, sculpture and graphics (1973). Shirinyana" (plaster), "Komsomol" (copper), "Roads of the Revolution" (stone), sculptural group and 4 reliefs for the Institute of Physical Education (plaster), "Man and Dolphin" (wood), figure of an astronaut (cast iron), "Portrait of a mother" (cast iron), "Boy with a gun" (metal). He was passionate about the idea of non-motorized flights. He had three patented inventions of aircraft. He died tragically in 1978.
